What could your business do with $5,000?

Australia Post’s Local Business Heroes program, is currently open for applications, offering recipients a $5,000 support package across a number of key areas including marketing, techonolgy, staying connected and business coaching.

Last year’s local recipient Hey Sigmund chose to invest their grant into promotional material to raise awareness of the incredible work they do in supporting teens who struggle with anxiety.

“The biggest help was the exposure for our business which came from the promotional material at Australia Post shops”, owner Karen Young explains.

“it meant a lot to be acklowleged in this way and to be working with businesses who also care about my customers.”

Australia Post program manager Gary Starr added, “small business are the beating heart of our local economy and we’re proud to support and [see them] prosper through the Local Business Heroes program. [We] want to see them succeed, but also shine a light on these on this important businesess.”
