The twelfth edition of our newspaper will be out in local shops and cafés from this weekend.

It’s curious, it’s bright and it’s packed full of beautiful images and interesting stories from our region. We have, as always, looked to uncover some hidden gems, and showcase ways to make the most of the coming season. It’s perfect for reading in the warmest space you can find.

An huge THANK YOU of course to all our readers, supporters, stockists, contributors and advertisers who make it all possible. In particular, @prestonpeakfunctions @empire_theatre @trartgalleries @hotproperty_realestate @unisqsoca @highlands.au @southerndownsrc we have been able to pull together another jam-packed edition of local journalism and photography.

Here’s a sneak peek of what you’ll find in Issue 12:

  • We explore the world of the shroom and explore the humble mushroom; a culinary powerhouse, offering rich flavors, diverse textures, and surprising health benefits in every bite.

  • Step inside a gloriously bright and eclectic Wine Bar, with all the charm of a 1930's speakeasy and a boutique selection of local, Australian and international wines.

  • Leonie Hart takes a look at the curiously mesmerising artform of Textile and Fibre art and talks to local artist Barbara Stephenson.

  • W've round up some cabins to make the most of the season; perfect for snuggling in on a cold weekend away.

  • Seanna Hill explores rockclimbing, bouldering and the small but dedicated local climbing scene.

  • We visit Michelle & Jordan Von Pein's recent Mt Lofty renovation filled with art, character and hominess,.

  • And much more. . .

From this weekend, you’ll find free copies in local businesses (for a list of stockists, click here).

We hope you love it –
