Toowoomba Regional Council – in partnership with DMS Creative – has opened two rounds of training grants for small and medium business owners and managers.

The Digital Marketing Mentoring Program will deliver fully subsidised expert advice to local businesses. The program is targeted at established business owners who are looking at ways to use digital marketing to seek and attract new clients and find more efficient service delivery methods. It will provide expert advice to help navigate digital marketing and service technologies, tailored to industry and specific business needs, and ending with a Digital Business Action Plan. Mentoring will be delivered in four sessions via video link or alternative arrangements. Times can be arranged to suit business owners.

Expressions of interest for the program close on January 31, 2022, with successful participants notified in early February. There will be two intakes for this program; the first starts from mid-February with the second intake in April 2022.

To be eligible for the program, prospective participants must live in the Toowoomba Region, have a minimum 12 months’ experience in owning or managing a business (or be prepared to do so), and undergo an interview and review of selection criteria. Spaces in this program are limited and positions will be based on responses to the selection criteria in the expression of interest form.
