There’s plenty to choose from, so round-up your closest for a fun night out at one of the city’s regular weekly trivia nights.

Did you know that the real name for a hashtag is an octothorpe? or that of the 193 members of the United Nations, Britain has invaded 171 of them? Can you name which country has a unicorn as its national animal?
Not just a past-time, Trivia has seen a resurgence in popularity in recent years, and goes hand-in-hand with our pub and brewery scene. Luckily for us, Toowoomba has plenty to choose from.
So whether you’re needing a new weekly tradition, an excuse to check out some more of Toowoomba’s best spots, or just looking for something to do on a Midweek night, a Trivia night out with friends may be exactly what you’re looking for.
1) Fitzy's Trivia Tuesday's kicks off at 7pm every week, with free entry and prizes up for grabs. No need to book, come early to grab a drink and secure your spot!
2) A Toowoomba classic, The Spotted Cow offers weekly trivia on Tuesday nights, entry is free, and registration opens at 6pm for a 6:30pm start. Tuesday nights also happen to be Parmy Nights at the Spotted Cow, and we couldn't think of a better combo.
3) Love sport? Love good food? Love trivia? Tailgate Sports Bar may just be the place for you. Located at the Walton Stores, their Wednesday night trivia kicks off at 6:30pm and their hot dog and fries special is a perfect accompaniment.
4) Looking for that mid-week pick me up? Wednesday nights are Trivia at Mouse Proof. They claim that their trivia is for everyone , even people who don't like trivia. Put it to the test - register online to secure your spot, the night kicks off at 6:30pm.
5) Every Thursday night, Toowoomba City Golf Club hosts trivia and for just $2 with groups of up to six people. Registration for the event starts at 6.30pm for a 7pm kick-off.
6) Make your way to The Stock Hotel on a Tuesday night, for your chance to win a weekly $2,000 Trivia Jackpot. The night begins at 7:00pm and bookings are essential as it fills up quick.
7) Looking for asomething a little different? Grab some friends, team up and put your heads together at The Brewhouse for Survey Says; a cross between pub trivia and family fued. On each Wednesday from 6:30pm.
