What could your community or not-for-profit group do with $2,500, or even $5,000?

The Toowoomba Regional Council’s community grants, which become available twice-yearly and range in value, provide monetary support to organisations and encourage the upgrading of venues, creation of events, and increasing membership and community reach.

The grants cover a range of areas, including:

  • Events;

  • Community and not-for-profit;

  • Economic development;

  • Environment;

  • Cultural and arts; and

  • Sports

In short: there’s a great chance the group you run, or one you’re a part of, is eligible for some sweet cash. All you’ll need to do is dream up a project that’ll positively change your organisation and the wider community, check your eligibility, and hit submit – grants will then be assessed, with multiple being handed out across the above categories.

Applications for the grants close on Tuesday, 1 March 2022, and can be submitted via Council’s online portal. Start brainstorming!
