Cloaked in myth, the secret world of undercover spies is set to be revealed in Cobb+Co Museum’s latest exhibition Spy: Espionage in Australia. On tour from National Archives of Australia, Spy reveals the personal experiences of secret agents and the curious history of government intelligence and counter-espionage in Australia from 1901 through to the present day.

The exhibition delves into famous stories such as the Petrov affair and unveils anecdotes such as Australia’s role in breaking Japanese codes during World War II. Visitors of all ages can also enjoy hands-on activities, play the part of a secret agent in the interactive trail, and test their skills at codebreaking and reading invisible ink.

When you arrive at the exhibition, take part in one of the free Spy Trails for families. Working together, families can go undercover to solve puzzles, find clues and practice their spy skills. Spy Trail is offered on two levels, one for ages 3+ and one for ages 7+.

Spy: Espionage in Australia is on from 11 June 2022 to 30 October 2022 and is included with Cobb+Co Museum admission.
