Every weekend of Carnival is blooming with Parkland Entertainment! Pack a picnic and bring the family along to musical delights and activities amongst the flower beds. Throughout September and October Laurel Bank Park will come alive with music, entertainment and blooms.

BIG SKIES FESTIVAL: 03 - 07 Oct
The award winning Big Skies Festival is back in 2024, with a star-studded line-up of iconic artists. Four days of live music on the main stage, experience regional bus tours, the long lunch or sunset dinner, chill out at happy hour at the hangar, sit by the fire at the camp kitchen or take a tour inside Jimbour House.

Symphony Under the Stars with Queensland Symphony Orchestra: 04 Oct
A special event for Carnival’s 75th birthday – this open-air concert will be an evening to remember! Performed by the full Queensland Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Chief Conductor Umberto Clerici, set in the iconic Queens Park Amphitheatre.

The Australian Camp Oven Festival is a biennial event that celebrates the traditions of camp oven cooking. Enjoy two days of camp oven cooking, live entertainment, camping, working demonstrations, workshops and more as we celebrate Australia’s bush heritage and outback traditions.

Garden City Backyard Ultra: 05 Oct
The Garden City Backyard Ultra is on again for 2024. A form of ultramarathon race where competitors must consecutively run a 6.71km course in less than one hour, every hour. When each lap is completed, the remaining time within the hour is used to recover and replenish for the next hour's race. The race finishes when one person completes one more lap than anyone else.

CREEDENCE CLEARWATER COLLECTIVE: 11 Oct
Come to a celebration of Creedence Clearwater Revival, as tribute band Creedence Clearwater Collective walk through the life and music of one of the world’s most iconic bands – from the songs they wrote, to the songs covered, to the songs they wrote for others.
The Creedence Clearwater Collective brings to the stage a six piece band – with a guest saxophonist and a vocalist that emulates John Fogerty’s distinct vocals – to capture the unique CCR sound.

Warwick Rodeo: 21 - 27 October
On the last full weekend of October every year, the nation’s top rodeo riders and the best broncs and bucking bulls gather for the Warwick Rodeo – known far and wide as “Australia’s Most Famous”. The riders and the bucking stock come together to try and prove the old saying wrong – “never the horse that couldn’t be rode, never the rider that couldn’t be throwed”.
