Monique Correy's beautiful oil/acrylic works will exhibit at The Toowoomba Lighthouse, an exciting new space in Toowoomba with an aim to bring to life imagination and encourage community engagement. Gallery opening times are from 10.00am-5.00pm.

Autumn Picnic at Bunnyconnellen

1 May from 11.30am

Enjoy a Sunday picnic on the lawns of this beautiful venue outside Crows Nest. They've teamed up with Van Lill Music to bring you some fantastic live entertainment, speciality food stalls, VIP picnic set up, and a fully licensed bar.

MEdea

Medea is a former Barbarian Princess who left her world behind for the man she loves. When she learns that her husband Jason, leader of the Argonauts, is planning to leave her to marry Glauce, the Greek Princess of Corinth, her love and passion turns to blind rage.

This stylised, minimalist production combines conventions of traditional Greek tragedy, epic theatre, physical theatre and multiple role playing, to deliver an intense and gripping experience accompanied by a thumping soundtrack.

Shen yun

3 May at 7.30pm | 4 May at 1.30pm

New York-based Shen Yun returns to Toowoomba as part of its global tour. Shen Yun’s works convey the extraordinary depth and breadth of genuine Chinese culture and bring the magnificence of five thousand years of civilisation back to life on stage. It pushes the boundaries of the performing arts, with a unique blend of stunning costuming, high-tech backdrops, and a live orchestra like no other.

My Mother’s recipes – Cooking class

7 May at 9.00am

Everyday Bruno Loubet's mother cooked simple French food but always with a lot of care, good ingredients, that were cooked and seasoned properly. He has very fond memories of these moments and will never forget the feeling in the room. In this workshop Bruno has selected three of his mum’s recipes and would like to enjoy them with you at Willow Vale Cooking School.

Intro to bbq basics masterclass

14 May at 10.00am

Hosted by BBQ Pit Master at The Plate/The Paddock Butchery, Chris Davey from The Smoking Hot Bros this class includes learning how to prepare beef short ribs, pull apart lamb shoulder, and smoked chicken wings on a low and slow BBQ.

Hampton Festival

15 May from 9.30am

Check out the Festival's wide range of food vendors, wineries, cafes and artisan producers, and head over to the Growers on the Green precinct to see, taste and experience how your food is produced.

Gerler at Cork & Lever

18 May at 5.30pm

A wine tasting for those who want an awesome night out with great food and great people. Hear from Gerler Winemakers Kris and Dave Cush of City Winery Brisbane, as they pour your tastings and tell you the story behind each wine.

Xavier Rudd Live

25 May at 7.00pm

Xavier Rudd announces his 2022 Australian tour, in celebration of the release of his 10th studio album ‘Jan Juc Moon’. The wind blows strong though Xavier Rudd's tenth album. It’s a recurring image that speaks of wide-open space and the awesome natural elements that shape it: a force far greater than us, but ours to harness if we take the time to learn, reflect and respect its ways.

Le Toot Ensemble

28 May at 2.00pm

The debut of a new brass ensemble, set in the wonderful acoustics of St Patrick's Cathedral. The concert will feature music from classical to baroque, folk to jazz. Bach to Leroy Anderson to Joe Zawinul.

Don Juan

28 May at 8.00pm

5 crazy, faux-French clowns invite you to play. They bring you in, they get you a drink, they flirt with you a bit (maybe they fall in love with you) and then they invite you to tell the story of Don Juan, with them.

This is an interactive performance event, a party in the theatre.
