Toowoomba Regional Council is inviting expressions of interest for participants in the Creative CBD Toowoomba Trial Project.

The trial project uses the Renew Australia model to give emerging creative or not-for-profit businesses access to vacant shop space in the Toowoomba CBD on a rolling 30 day licence basis.

The trial will operate for up to 12 months depending on the level of interest and has three key objectives:

  • to allow new or growing creative businesses to try out a CBD shopfronts in a low risk manner

  • to support property owners and managers to reduce CBD vacancy rates

  • to increase the diversity and vibrancy of our CBD streets and lanes

If you are a small business creating your own products or IP or a not-for-profit organisation you may be eligible for the trial program. Submissions received before 9am on 7 September will be considered for the first round, however the EOI will remain open and applicants will be contacted as new spaces become available.

Find out more through the Toowoomba Regional Council’s website.
