Adrian Cubit optimistically called his first brewery 4 Brothers in the hopes his three siblings would help him. They didn't seem to get the memo.

Several years later, the brewery has found a new home in the CBD, after uprooting from the old dairy factory on Brook Street. Adrian and Josie have delighted many with The Brewhouse, the company’s new watering hole, now also offering nibbles such as buffalo wings and mozzarella sticks to pair with your pint.

It's industrial and down-to-earth, just like the hardworking, friendly team behind the bar. The team serve up several regular beers and a few one-offs to celebrate special occasions, such as a floral beer each spring. Ever tried a coffee beer? Caramel, pumpkin? Don’t dismiss it just yet – these beers are a must-try for anyone not afraid to be out-there.

The city-centre taproom is the main place to try the locally-brewed beer, but it's also possible to find some at local pubs and bottleshops, such as The Spotted Cow, or Cellarbrations Mackenzie Row.
