Phat Burgers has become a Toowoomba institution throughout its several different venues. Now located right in the middle of the city, it’s a local gem worth preserving.

Fully licensed and offering dine-in, takeaway and delivery options, Phat Burgers pumps out gourmet burgers every day, all with delightfully cheeky names – try the Redneck (beef patty, bacon, egg and pineapple), the Foghorn (crumbed chicken, bacon, cheese and chilli jam) or the famous Burghoffer (which is ‘bigger than Clive’). They are huge supporters of local produce; all their beef is grassfed and sourced from the Darling Downs.

The store also hosts a pop-up records sale on Saturday mornings with hundreds of vinyls available to purchase. It’s these quirky, community-driven touches that make Phat Burgers such a beloved place.
