You can now send your loved ones a perfectly-packaged token of appreciation, thanks to Lil’ Boxes of Joy. And the best part? It takes just a couple of clicks for your friend to receive their gift, which is delivered throughout the Toowoomba region within an hour.

The sisters found inspiration during lockdown to send gifts to loved ones, and before you know it, Lil Boxes of Joy began. To them, it's ‘less about what's in the box and all about what's in your heart’, by allowing locals to send personalised boxes straight to recipient’s doors through delivery service DoorDash.

On the menu are eight different boxes, for any situation life can throw at you:

  • The ‘Sorry Things are Sh*t’ Box - for when your best friend’s going through a breakup, or just needs a little cheering up.

  • The ‘How Hard is Parenting?!?’ Box - for the mums and dads in your life who need a helping hand among the madness.

  • The ‘Hey You’ Box - adult friendships are hard, and schedules seem to never line up. Send this gift to your mate to let them know you haven’t forgotten about them.

  • The ‘Secret Women’s Business’ Box - a collection of period products to make sure you’re always prepared.

  • The ‘Yay!’ Box - perfect for congratulating a loved one on life’s big and small victories, whether it’s a new job or submitting that tough assignment.

  • The ‘Sorry You’ve Got Gastro’ and ‘Sorry You’re Crook’ Boxes - complete with tissues, throat lozenges, and chicken noodle soup, this box of joy will make sure your friend feels tip-top in no time. These work after big nights out too. Apparently…

  • The ‘Thank You’ Box - to simply show your appreciation!

All boxes are $20 plus delivery fee and are delivered ASAP, making for the perfect last-minute Secret Santa gift or a quick pick-me-up. Find out more here.
