Transport yourself to the Phillipines for a night at this authentic, friendly restaurant. The pride in this amazing culture is palpable — from the decor to the music to the sense of hospitality.

The lunch specials are unbelievably good value, starting at $7.50 and perfect for sharing. Dinner is a la carte, and full of authentic dishes. The only Filipino restaurant in the city, Kusina is both licensed and BYO-friendly.

Kusina is one of Toowoomba’s many hidden gems, tucked upstairs in the middle of the city. Look out for the monthly Kamayan Feast, a celebration of Filipino culture through food, drinks and music. There’s a 15m table full of food to share, and plenty of karaoke.
